December 16, 2006 - St. Louis, MO. “A Christmas Carol” at the Fabulous Fox Theater.

June 8, 2007 "Graceland, Sun Records and the Pig on Beale." – The Gold Club traveled to Memphis and toured Elvis Presley's home "Graceland." We saw Elvis memorabilia, stage costumes, jewelry, gold records, his jets, automobiles and more! Everyone eenjoyed a fabulous BBQ lunch at the famous "Pig on Beale." After lunch, we toured the legendary Sun Studio where rock and roll was born. This is where Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and roy Orbinson all got their start.

June 30, 2007 "The Lion King at the Fabulous Fox Theatre." This was the Gold Club's first grandparent/ grandkid trip. This stunning performance anf the breathtaking spectacle of animals was brought to life by director Julie Taymor. After the performance, everyone enjoyed a surprice treat from the fmaous "Ted Drewes.".

November 9, 2007 "Grand Rivers, KY."  - The GOLD Club traveled to Grand Rivers, KY to Patti's 1880's Settlement where everyone enjoyed a fabulous meal, shopping, music and especially the annual lighting of over 500,000 Christmas lights. Everyone also enjoyed a Christmas music show at the Variety Theater.

November 27, 2007 "St. Louis Trip."  - Everyone enjoyed the day trip to St. Louis. We toured the Robert Campbell House, Old Courthouse and saw the Victorian Christmas Tree, Adams Mark Hotel, Walter Knoll's Floral and Botanical Gardens wreath and floral display. We had a great dinner at Zia's Italian Restaurant on "The Hill" and then drove through Tilles Park, Market Street, Lafayette Square and the Anheuser-Busch Brewery to see the decorations and light displays.

April 16, 2008 "Legends of Song." GOLD Club members traveled to Belleville, IL to see "Legends of Song" featuring Mike Williamson and his group at the historic Lincoln Theater. The show started with a performance on the historic Lincoln Theater organ. The music featured Big Band Hits, Oldies and family-style comedy and included music from Gershwin, Cole Porter to Hank Williams and Neil Diamond.

June 23, 2008 "Fort Leonard Wood" GOLD Club members spent the day at Fort Leonard Wood. Members got to tour the modern Civil Engineering and Military Police Museum. Next we had lunch with the soldiers at the military Dining Facility, which had been selected the best Dining Facility in the U.S. Army. Next was a tour of the fort where we learned about life on the fort including facilities, family housing, and some of the kinds of training the soldiers do.

July 21-22, 2008 "Mark Twain Trip." Members of the GOLD Club journeyed to Hannibal, Mo for a 2 day, 1 night trip. We toured the Mark Twain Birthplace and Museum and enjoyed a wonderful dunner cruise aboard the Mark Twain Riverboat on the Mississippi River. The next morning we were off aboard the Twainland Express for a tour of the Hannibal and Riverview Park which overlooks the Mississippi River. Next we tourd the Molly Brown Birthplace and then Rockcliff Mansion, one of the finest river estates in America before heading home.

September 6, 2008 The GOLD Club went on a day trip to Kirkwood, MO and enjoyed an awesome lunch at Amici’s Italian Restaurant. After lunch, there was time for shopping at the Farmers Market. Then it was off to Stages Theatre where we saw “The Music Man.” The show featured such hits as “76 Trombones,” “Till There Was You,” “Trouble,” and many more!

September 16-17, 2008 GOLD Club members went to Branson on a two day, one night trip. Everyone enjoyed “Noah the Musical” at the new Sight and Sound Theatre with over 300 live and animatronic animals. We spent half of the next day at Dogwood Canyon Nature Park where we saw bison, elk, trout and other wildlife. After the tour of the park we were treated to a Chuck Wagon Barbeque before beginning our journey home.

October 4-10, 2008 We flew from St. Louis to Manchester, New Hampshire where we began our New England Fall Foliage journey. The fall colors were spectacular as we drove the famous Kancamagus Highway. We rode the Cannon Mountain Tramway to the mountain’s summit where it was snowing! Everyone enjoyed the train ride on the Crawford Notch Line from North Conway to Bretton Woods. Next we visited Montpelier, VT and the Morse Sugar Farm and spent the night at the Trapp Family Lodge. The next day we went on a luxury luncheon cruise along the Adriondack Mountains.

November 14, 2008 The GOLD Club made the yearly trek to Patti’s 1880’s Settlement, in Grand Rivers, KY for their annual Christmas Lighting, featuring over 500,000 lights! We saw a spectacular Christmas Show followed by a very filling dinner at Patti’s. After dinner, there was time for shopping and also time to listen to the Southern Gospel Quartet “Eternal Vision.”

December 20, 2008 This was a day trip to the Fabulous Fox Theatre where we saw the famous Radio City Rockettes. It was an amazing show with precision choreography and included the “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers” and the inspiring “Living Nativity.”

May 10-23, 2009 The GOLD Club had an awesome cruise to Alaska. This was the first cruise that the GOLD Club has done and everyone had a great time. We flew from St. Louis to San Diego where we boarded our ship; Royal Caribbean’s “Radiance of the Seas.” We cruised to San Francisco and me and several others toured Alcatraz, had lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. and rode a street car. Next we cruised to authentic Alaskan fishing village of Icy Strait Point, AK and then on to Hubbard Glacier. We cruised the inside passage to Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan. We cruised on to Vancouver, British Columbia where we did a driving tour of the city and after lunch we went on to Seattle and caught our flight home. We had unbelievable weather while in Alaska; sunny and 65-70 degrees! Everyone enjoyed the spectacular scenery and brought home fond memories of our journey.
